Adding a Bespoke Touch
Bespoke furniture doesn’t always mean completely new designs or large-scale projects. For Hickory’s Milton Keynes, a few carefully considered details helped to personalise a selection of our standard furniture and bring the vision for their new outdoor space to life.
A key part of the project was adding bespoke seat pads to our Warwick Bar Chairs. The deep cushions provide an elevated level of comfort for customers, while straps were added underneath to keep the pads securely in place during use.
The project also included a selection of our Chia Chairs, Warwick Teak Collection and Guernsey Walk-In Picnic Benches, alongside bespoke distressed timber table tops created by our team specifically for the scheme.
Bespoke Details, Designed for Hickory's
Our bespoke team worked with Hickory’s to create the distressed timber table tops, adding character to the outdoor furniture and helping to achieve the desired look for the new site.
We also adapted the Warwick Bar Chairs with bespoke padded seat cushions, using the company’s colours to create a more personalised finish while improving comfort for customers.
Alongside the bespoke elements, we supplied Chia Chairs, pieces from the Warwick Teak Collection and Guernsey Walk-In Picnic Benches, as well as parasols in Hickory’s colours to complete the outdoor scheme.
There was an initial challenge with stock availability, which meant we were unable to supply the full order as planned. To ensure the opening could go ahead as scheduled, we provided suitable stand-in furniture while the remaining pieces became available. Just a few days later, we returned to site and completed the planned furniture swap.
A New Outdoor Space Ready to Open
The completed scheme gave Hickory’s Milton Keynes a brand-accurate outdoor space, combining their distinctive colours with a mixture of standard and bespoke furniture.
The padded Warwick Bar Chairs added an extra level of comfort, while the distressed timber table tops and bespoke details gave the space its own character.
The project forms part of our ongoing supply relationship with Hickory’s, with each new site designed around its individual requirements. For Milton Keynes, the result was a welcoming and comfortable outdoor area, ready for the grand opening of the new site.
