A Pub, A Project, and A Whole Lot of Plastic (The Good Kind)

We were thrilled to team up with Black Country Traditional Inns on their biggest project with us to date: The White Hart, a charming character pub nestled in Shifnal, Shropshire. It’s a beautiful spot, full of old-school timber charm, and the kind of place where you just know the ale tastes better.

The pub was a recent addition to the Black Country Traditional Inns family and needed a little TLC so it could throw open its doors and welcome back the good people of Shifnal. That’s where we came in, with furniture for both the great indoors and the great outdoors.

Courtyard Vibes and Grassy Get-Togethers

In the courtyard, we placed our Premium Newark folding tables and chairs, stylish, sturdy, and perfect for a pint in the sunshine. Out back, on a nice patch of grass, we installed Recycled Plastic A-frames, which are basically picnic tables with a planet-friendly twist. Front and centre on the terrace? Our large round 8-seater recycled plastic tables, ideal for group gatherings, long lunches, and the occasional impromptu pub quiz.

(Yes, all that recycled plastic means this project is easier on the environment and on your conscience. You’re welcome, Mother Nature.)

Inside the Hart of the Pub

Step inside, and it only gets better. The indoor setup is a lovely blend of traditional elegance and handcrafted quality. We used cast iron bases paired with bespoke oak veneered tops, made entirely in-house by our talented Bespoke team.

The result? A cosy, character-filled interior that fits the 16th-century timber building like a glove. The photos speak for themselves; it’s a furniture glow-up!

Raising A Glass To The Result

We love projects like this! Great clients, beautiful spaces, and the chance to show off what we do best, creating furniture that not only looks great but suits its surroundings perfectly.

The White Hart is now fully kitted out to welcome guests old and new. With furniture that’s built to last (and last, and last), we like to think we’ve played a small part in the next chapter of this lovely pub’s story.
